CAREER: Sugar Aloes began his singing career in 1979 at the Original Young Brigade Tent and became very popular from the mid-1990s through the 2000s with his political commentary in calypso form. He won the Calypso Crown in 2002 with "Contribution" and "Jubilation Time," and in 2008 with "Reflections." He made the Calypso Monarch finals in 2012 and 2018. His other calypsoes include:
