CAREER: Hepburn began his singing career in the early 1950s as a member of the March of Dimes Quartet who accompanied many calypsonians in their live performances and recordings; the other members of the group were Peter Pitts, Marjorie Johnson, and Laddie Prescott. He made his debut as a calypsonian in 1955 and performed first as King Corbeau and, later, as Melody Prince. His calypsoes included:
