City Symphony Conventional Defunct Functioned from the 1950s to the 1960s and had a hit recording with its rendition of Cole Porter's "Night and Day."
City Syncopators Conventional Defunct Formed in 1950, this band functioned from the 1950s to the 1960s under the leadership of Philmore Davidson, who was the band's captain from 1950 to 1955, and Kenny Hart, who became captain in 1955 when Davidson left for England. The band took 2nd Place in the 1966 Steelband Music Festival with "Poets and Peasants."
