Matelot

The Toco Main Road ends at the community of Matelot which lies west of Grand Riviere. Visitors wishing to travel along the northern coast west of Matelot can only do so on foot. The nearest road west of Matelot Bay along the coast begins at Paria Bay. At Matelot, the Shark River empties into the Caribbean Sea from the northern slopes of the Northern Mountain Range.
