 Mayaro lies east of Rio Claro and can be accessed by the Naparima-Mayaro Road which has many guest homes and hotels along the way. Visitors to the area can enjoy the waters of the palm-fringed Mayaro Beach, Trinidad's longest beach. Some of the communities of Mayaro are Grand Lagoon Village and St. Ann's Village. |
Mayaro is the birthplace of Trinidad & Tobago's most successful international actor Edric Connor.
