| Pamberi was formed in 1980 in San Juan with panmen from neighboring steelbands Finland and Marsicans. Pamberi is a Zimbabwean word that means "Forward." In 1993, Pamberi began a tour of Japan and, in the ensuing years, have returned there many times. The band competed in the Tobago Region of the Medium Conventional Steelbands category at the annual National Panorama competition and placed 3rd in 2023. | |
