  • CAREER:                           Aaron Armstrong is the son of 1970s T&T Olympian Ainsley Armstrong. Born in the USA, Aaron Armstrong elected to run for T&T in the 2008 Olympics and received a silver medal for running the semifinal leg in the 4 x 100 meters Relay in which the T&T team took 2nd Place. Armstrong's career includes the following significant accomplishments:
    • 2005 World Championships, Helsinki, Finland - 200 meters (Quarterfinals, 20.94)
    • 2006 Commonwealth Games, Melbourne, Australia - 200 meters (5th, 20.61)
    • 2008 Central American and Caribbean Championships, Cali, Colombia - 4 x 100 meters Relay (1st, 38.54, with Keston Bledman, Marc Burns, and Richard Thompson)
    • 2008 Olympics, Beijing, China - 200 meters (Quarterfinals, 20.58); 4 x 100 meters Relay (Semifinals, 38.26, with Keston Bledman, Marc Burns, and Richard Thompson, replaced by Emmanuel Callender in final)
    • 2009 World Championships, Berlin, Germany - 200 meters (21.38)
    • 2010 Commonwealth Games, New Delhi, India - 100 meters (3rd, 10.24); 4 x 100 meters Relay (Final, Did not finish, with Shaun Stuart, Marcus Duncan, and Emmanuel Callender)
    • 2011 Central American and Caribbean Championships, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico - 100 meters (10.50); 4 x 100 meters Relay (2nd, 38.89, with Keston Bledman, Darrel Brown, Emmanuel Callender, and Rondell Sorillo/preliminary heats only)
