  • CAREER:                                      In 2014, Lendore was the first male athlete from the SEC (USA) to win The Bowerman award. He died in a car accident on his way home from serving as a volunteer assistant coach for Texas A&M’s track & field program, helping oversee the 400-meter and 800-meter specialists. His career included the following significant accomplishments:

    • 2009 Pan American Junior Championships, Port of Spain, Trinidad - 400 meters (47.61); 4 x 400 meters Relay (2nd, 3:07.70, with Kevin Haynes, Jehue Gordon, and Jevon Matthew)
    • 2010 CAC Junior Championships, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - 400 meters (3rd, 47.16), 4 x 400 meters Relay (1st 3:08.19 with Keshorn Dempster, Osei Forte, and Jehue Gordon)
    • 2010 World Junior Championships, Moncton, Canada - 400 meters (Semifinals, 47.49), 4 x 400 meters Relay (3:10.87, with Keshorn Dempster, Kevin Haynes, and Osei Forte)
