CAREER:                                     In addition to writing many literary and musical works, Kwabena has lectured and conducted workshops in Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe. In 2001, he was named the 2001-2002 Poet Laureate for the city of Birmingham, England. Kwabena's lifetime published works include the following:
