CAREER:                                       Williams grew up in Woodbrook in a family of professional musicians that included his father, John "Buddy Williams, and brothers Noble Williams (One World Contraband) and Montgomery Williams (Cassanovas). His early training was in violin (which he abhorred) but he eventually matriculated to bass, his father's favorite instrument. As a teenager, he was a panman in the Invaders steelband before leaving Trinidad in the late-1960s.
