STEELBAND: Birdsong (2000s) SPECIALTIES: Player Arranger CAREER:                                       Smith began playing pan in 1951 and later left Trinidad in 1962 to tour North America, Europe, South Africa, and the Caribbean. He established his base in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the early-1980s and returned to Trinidad annually to take part in the Panorama competition. In 2004, he was the arranger for the Birdsong Steelband.
