CAREER: Zephyrine gave up a career as a draughtsman to dedicate more time to arranging music for the Invaders Steelband in the late-1950s. He was a fixture on the Invaders stage side and became known as "Augmented." He moved over to Starlift for the 1963 Carnival where he arranged one song: Cry Me A River. He represented Starlift on the Trinidad & Tobago National Steelband before leaving Trinidad in 1965 to play in Holland. Upon his return to Trinidad, his musical involvement with Starlift was very limited. |
